A tall challenge for Lemontrade this time! Water ingress was showing up as damp patches on upstairs chimney breast. No leaks in roof and flashing sound. Shame about the flaunching! Mild steel support rods had been used to hold chimney pots rather than stainless steel, hence they rusted and in expanding cracked the flaunching in 3 places. Cracks were big enough to put fingers in and also the rain! The trouble did not end here..... See next blog post.
